I have a theory about cycles of events and it would appear I'm not as mad as you lot think I am.
It would appear that as a species we have not learnt the lessons of history, appear not to be affected overmuch by genocides or major bouts of ethnic cleansing and as long as it doesn't affect out own little lives too much will allow our ' leaders' to pretty much get away with anything.
Where do we draw the lines, where do we make a stand and say no to megalomaniacs like Putin?
I was called a 'free thinker' the other day by someone I respect a lot and my biggest fear is that the Plutocrats will do their utmost to remove that freedom to think and say what I think is right.
Putin is a Plutocrat who has decided to have a serious punt at doing his utmost to do as much harm to the LGBT community in Russia as he can. It's blindingly obvious he's trying to stir up social unrest, social unrest leads to more draconian law and order, more draconian law and order leads to more power.
Cameron is a Plutocrat who has decided to have a serious punt at invading our privacy and censoring what we can and cannot do online or in the media. He is trying to remove our most fundamental freedom. The freedom to think and discuss what we like with like minded people. This will not sit well with many and will probably lead to social unrest, social unrest leads to more draconian law an..........
Anyone else see a theme developing here?
You may think my logic is flawed and base on a sample of only two nations but look closely at europe and the USA, look at the living standards, wages and some of the madcap legislation being proposed and then tell me my logic is flawed.
Think, and think bloody fast before we all run out of time.
Sports is not supposed to be connected to politics but it is, it's inexorably linked to politics, finance and all the shady back room goings on.
The Plutocrats are winning the battle in my opinion, how long before they come for the bikers? They've had a go at everyone else. How long before the freedom and independence being a biker brings is a thing you fondly tell your grandkids about, but not in the house because big brother is listening!
